The year 2020 is a year in my lifetime I thought not possible, yet here we are with a worldwide pandemic that we are all trying to escape from, "Escape from Black Earth". Never in my worst dreams did I believe the abstract theme from my Escape from Black Earth painting would be a reality, my painting is an escape from reality, my creative abstract mind at play. The Black Earth sickened by COVID 19 was already in bad shape, poverty, wars, conflicting politics and international values. The world is truly in a mess and many of us would escape from it if we only could. The white frames on my painting are portals 'windows' to another world where all is good again an Escape from Black Earth. A new planet fresh, clean and no person goes hungry or suffers.
