Description
Interstellar Scaffold Collapse is a tormented painting that has taken over 20 years to complete. Interstellar Scaffold Collapse abstractly depicts the collapsing of my interstellar mind, a galaxy that is constantly building, breaking down and rebuilding, over and over to reach no conclusion or finality, my mind can collapse like the scaffolding on a building site and the build starts over again. The objective of this work was to explore freedom of interstellar “mind space” confined to the limited space within a painting space, allowing my creative mind to take a trip into itself to create another space. In trying to explain I realise I don’t really understand it myself and so I am tormented by it.
